How We Pick Products
Findloro is built around a simple question: does this product solve a clear problem well enough to deserve a shopper’s attention?
1. Start with the use case
We begin with a task or frustration—measuring ingredients, keeping a phone charged, reducing repetitive food prep, organizing a desk—not with a brand name or a discount.
2. Prefer understandable value
We favor products whose benefit can be explained plainly. A useful pick should make a task easier, faster, more consistent or less cluttered. We avoid treating novelty alone as a reason to buy.
3. Consider trade-offs
Every product type has limitations. Our guides call out who a product is best for and when a simpler alternative may make more sense. A recommendation is not the same as saying everyone needs it.
4. Verify before buying
Listings, sellers, versions, prices and availability can change. We therefore direct readers to check the current retailer listing before purchasing and avoid hard-coding prices or ratings that may become outdated.
5. Keep editorial judgment separate
Affiliate commissions do not change the price paid by the shopper. Our goal is to make the recommendation useful even if the reader decides not to buy.
What we do not do
We do not reproduce Amazon customer reviews or manually publish Amazon star ratings. We also do not claim hands-on testing unless a product has actually been tested by Findloro.
